Ep. 122 The Broken State of Victoria
Victoria has been living under a state of emergency with restrictions on residents liberty in the name of public health for the past year. That is set to continue for the rest of 2021. Many believe the state of Victoria has become broken. A Victorian who is leading a charge to fix this state is former Victorian Public Servant Sanjeev Sabhlok who is my guest on WilmsFront.
Sanjeev shares the inside story of how Victoria’s police state public health response emerged when coronavirus began to spread around the nation in March 2020. Sanjeev this week has launched the Team Australia political movement aiming to bring together coalitions of leaders and political parties to fight against the current bipartisan public health terrorism.
Sanjeev was a public servant in his native India before migrating to Australia in 2001. He still writes about the current Indian political economy for the Times of India and shares his detailed insights about the current Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
